Quicknit Laboratory Sample Knitting Machine. The Quicknit Machine has been designed with a number of unique features that make it a user-friendly and economical machine for operators without specific knitting or machine knowledge.

  • Industry Standard 3 1/2" diameter x 240 needle cylinder, suitable for filament and staple yarns.
  • DC Motor and gear drive system as used in production machine guarantees long life.  Operates on 220v, 50/60hz, single phase for worldwide use.
  • Stitch control adjuster allows a wide range of yarn counts to be knitted without changing cylinders.
  • Two-finger yarn feed with pneumatic changer allows rapid supply package change from 4 position yarn stand.
  • Pneumatic fabric transport and stress-relaxing storage container eliminates expensive and complicated fabric takedown and roll-up systems, allowing very short examples to be knit and cut off for rapid testing.
  • Automatic oiling system ensures knitting elements are adequately but not excessively lubricated, to reduce maintenance and produce cleaner fabric.
  • Comprehensive picture-based instructions allow simple threading operation and maintenance.
  • An included tool and consumable parts kit covers all operational requirements.
  • ELECTRICAL - 220-240v, 50 or 60 hz, 1 phase, 20 amp startup

    AIR REQUIREMENT - Dry, oil free instrument-quality compressed air, 3/8" line size, minimum 5 bar pressure.
