Quality Control

The SDL International Group was the first in the Textile Testing and Quality Control Equipment Industry to be awarded ISO 9000 certification in March 1993 which has now been followed by further certification in January 1998 of our factory in Banbury.  This means that all departments including manufacture, service, sales and administration are continuously self-assessed and regularly checked by quality assessors to ensure that we provide you with the best quality products and service before, during and after the sales process.

In 2001, SDL Atlas UK reached two more important milestones in our quality program; SDL Atlas UK have been awarded the latest and coveted ISO 9000/2000 certification now including product design and, more importantly for our customers, SDL Atlas UK have been accredited by the UK Accreditation Service for Specific Instruments.  This allows us to provide UKAS-Traceable Calibration Certificates with new instruments and during subsequent recalibrations.  These certificates are required by most countries affiliated to UKAS through their standards bodies.
