^{ATLAS HVFAA HORIZONTAL VERTICAL FLAME CHAMBER}

Atlas HVFAA Horizontal Vertical Flame  Chamber. For determining the flammability of aircraft cabin and cargo compartment materials, liners and waste stowage compartment materials, and electric wire.

Large volume chamber (>0.5m3) prevents oxygen depletion during tests. Gas control system has  electrical shut-off solenoid, local gas flow meter, pressure regulator and gauge. Digital timers (3) with 0.1 second resolution and remote control. The HVFAA is the optimal  instrument for conducting repeatable FAA flammability tests. Specimen holder kits conform to FAR 25.853 a,b,b2,b3,FAR 25.855  a1,a2 and FAR 25.1359 and must be specified.

Optional Flame Confirmation Kit (ASTM  D5207) and Exhaust Blower system with variable speed control.
