ATLAS LINITEST+ FASTNESS TESTING SYSTEM

Atlas LINITEST+ Fastness Testing System. For tests complying with standard requirements concerning  washfastness, resistance to milling, fastness to dry cleaning  and colourfastness to aggressive alkaline washing solutions. A  bench top laboratory instrument with flexible programmability.

Container rotor is driven by a gear motor  coupled via a central maintenance-free magnetic coupling.  Microprocessor control allows infinite adjustments to speed  from 20 rpm to 40 rpm and a preprogrammed reversing function.

Heating is provided by three tubular  heating elements which keep the liquor at the required temperature. Cooling is provided by a coil type radiator  connected to a cooling water supply. Temperature ranges to a  maximum of 95°C.

Keyboard control panel and two-line microprocessor display provide for quick and easy programming operation of the apparatus. Instrument functions (operation, error) are indicated visually and partly also as audible  signals.

After the test has been completed the  specimens are processed as laid down in the standards, dried  and assessed against the grey scales. The carrier for these  tests takes up to 8 specimen containers each with a capacity of 550 ml.
