AATCC Launder-Ometer®. For conducting washfastness testing, dyeing, dry cleaning, colorfastness to fulling, detergency and other tests at  temperatures up to 95^oC. Stainless steel rotor holds five specimen containers on each of four sides and rotates at a constant 40 rpm (+/-2 rpm). Containers are preheated in  appropriate test solution. Stainless steel balls provide  agitation during rotation. Containers are sealed with either a  Neoprene rubber gasket or optional Teflon gasket.

Digital cycle timer with automatic shutdown  and audible warning. Constant temperature bath heated by stainless steel heater that provides a temperature rise rate of  2 degrees Celsius per minute. Bath temperature is maintained by an  indicating controlling thermostat. A temperature safety switch  is located inside the control cabinet to shut down the unit in case of overheating. A door safety switch automatically stops  the rotor when the door is opened.
