Carpet Flammability Tester. To determine the burning or scorching resistance of carpets. The apparatus consists of a sample test chamber with counterbalanced safety door, viewing mirror, stainless steel nuts and measuring template. A furnace which can heat the stainless steel nuts to 1050°C is also included. The results correlate time and radius of ignition and extinction using the template supplied.
