 STATIC EXTENSION TESTER
Tinius Olsen Static Extension Tester. Provides a means of clamping and holding stretch fabrics at a predetermined extension for extended periods. Accurate steel rules allow recoverability to be measured after release. Loading weights are also available to determine stretch increase under a fixed load for extended periods.
The test frame holds 3 or 6 sets of apparatus each consisting of a fixed top clamp and a lower clamp which can travel vertically downward on a low friction track and be clamped at a known extension referenced by a pointer on the attached calibrated steel rule.
On completion of the test period, users of Tinius Olsen Universal Testers can input results into their QMat Pro for Textiles software for automatic calculation of results and generation of reports.
