Easy-To-Use PnuBurst Unit Is Cost-Saving Addition To SDL Atlas Line Of Burst Testers

SDL Atlas is targeting its innovative, new tabletop PnuBurst unit to customers who want the convenience of a preprogrammed unit for basic burst testing but don’t need the extended range of the company’s popular AutoBurst model.

Both the PnuBurst and AutoBurst, the company’s premier burst tester, are built and certified to global safety and testing standards. Both deliver consistent and accurate testing for woven and non-woven textiles, paper, paperboard and films.

Introduced as a cost-saving option, the PnuBurst design features a pneumatically operated diaphragm, a color touch-screen controller preprogrammed for major test protocols and automatic bell size and clamp ring detection. The PnuBurst offers convenient out-of-the-box operation, enabling laboratories to conduct burst tests up to 1500kPa (15bar, 217psi.)

Its USB port, data cable and onboard software allow users to save and analyze test data as they see fit – or streamline their tasks by simply viewing and recording results brightly displayed on the PnuBurst’s colorful instrument control screen.

For users requiring an extended test range, the SDL Atlas AutoBurst offers labs a fully automatic but traditional hydraulic technique with up to 6000kPa (60bar, 870psi) operation – performance superior to that of competitive models.

The AutoBurst is ideal for testing paper, apparel fabrics, technical textiles and other materials where reliable burst strength measurements are critical. In addition to a full selection of test bells, the SDL Atlas units measure distensions up to 70mm – key for accurate testing of elastic fabrics.

The SDL Atlas Group of companies offers the largest range of textile testing products, supplies, consumables, and services available from a single source. With its own offices in the U.K., U.S., Hong Kong and China, plus agents in over 100 other countries, SDL Atlas is ready to support its customers anywhere in the world.
AATCC TM 195 Method Quantifies Moisture Management Properties For Performance Fabrics

A new test method for measuring the moisture handling properties of performance fabrics for active wear and other apparel has earned approval from the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) after a lengthy review. The SDL Atlas Moisture Management Tester (MMT) plays a key role in the new protocol.

Recent studies have revealed that for most active wear purchasers, the comfort of their apparel’s fabric is closely linked to its ability to handle moisture such as perspiration. Researchers have been seeking to develop a means for objectively measuring and documenting comfort levels and moisture handling. The newly adopted AATCC TM 195 test method and MMT from SDL Atlas promise a step forward.

The AATCC approval process is important for new technology. On any proposed test method, every objection and negative are carefully considered by committee members. Complete agreement is required before a method can advance to publication. Copies of AATCC TM 195 may be ordered from www.aatcc.org.

More than 40 of the desk-top MMT units are currently used by laboratories in Asia, Europe and the Americas, said Robert Lattie, Director, Product Management at SDL Atlas. The unit dynamically measures liquid transfer behavior in knitted, woven and non-woven textile fabrics using upper and lower concentric moisture sensors. It generates six key indexes and a quantifiable one-way moisture movement index value.

This new dynamic unit can demonstrate the ability of a fabric to improve apparel comfort. The MMT is recognized and used for both R&D and quality control by a growing number of sportswear and performance fabric manufacturers serving this critically important segment.

Snap Tester Patent Confirmed

The SDL Atlas Snap Tester has been manufactured under a license of a YKK Patent. The Snap Tester has become a standard for safety testing in children and infant garments. Nike, Gap and H&M specifically adopted the tester throughout their supply chains. Recently, unlicensed copies of the tester have appeared in the market. The largest producer of a copy tester has agreed that the YKK patent is valid and has ceased production and distribution.

In designing the grip and test for their snaps and other garment attachments, YKK designers paid special attention to not damaging or otherwise compromising the assembly of the garment attachment during test setup and gripping. Products not made to the exacting design of YKK may compromise the attachment during the gripping process and result in an inaccurate test. Therefore, the market will benefit from the discontinued distribution and use of the unlicensed tester. This will ensure that consistent and accurate results are reached throughout the supply chain.

If you find that you have an unlicensed tester, contact SDL Atlas for assistance in replacing it with a YKK designed SDL Atlas Snap Tester. For more information on the Licensed SDL Atlas Snap Tester click here.

For more information, visit www.sdlatlas.com or contact an SDL Atlas solutions expert:

- (US) T: +1 803 329 2110; F: +1 803 329 2133; E: info@sdlatlas.com
- (UK) T: +44 (0) 161 480 8485, F: +44 (0) 161 480 8580; E: test@sdlatlas.com
- (China) T: 852 3443 4888; F: 852 3443 4999; E: info@sdlatlas.com.cn

Wherever people test textiles, you'll find SDL Atlas.

SAFQ Snap Tester Clamps Improved

SDL Atlas is pleased to announce that the Upper Snap Clamp and Lower Fabric Clamp for the SAFQ Snap Tester have been redesigned to enhance the use of the Snap Tester. The aim of the redesign was to address customers’ desires for a more secure and more user friendly testing experience.

The SAFQ Snap Tester, designed and patented by YKK to determine the holding or breaking strength of prong-ring attached snap fasteners onto garments, has become a standard for safety testing in children and infant garments. Nike, GAP, Levi and H&M specifically adopted the tester throughout their supply chains.

SDL Atlas has made five major enhancements to the clamps including two improvements to the Upper Snap Clamp and three improvements to the Lower Snap Clamp.

The Upper Snap Clamp has an improved simple locking mechanism that, unlike the former screw type locking mechanism, requires minimal force to properly set the sample. Engagement is now just a simple push of a toggle hinge which helps ensure that the vertical alignment can be easily maintained. In addition, the new toggle hinge completely swings away from mechanism allowing the jaws to open and close freely highly reducing the sample loading and unloading times.

Additionally, in order to provide more precise testing, three individual Upper Snap Clamps have been designed to cover the same range that the previous single Upper Snap Clamp covered. The former Upper Snap Clamp was designed to test a snap or button from Linge 12 to Linge 30. The new design features a low range clamp for Linge 12 to Linge 16, a medium range clamp to test from Linge 16 to Linge 21 and a high range clamp to test from Linge 21 to Linge 30. Needless to say, reducing the applicable range can help to ensure a better fit of the jaw curvature onto the test specimen, thus providing a more secure clamping action.

The Lower Fabric Clamp has also received a number of improvements. The Clamp Plate has been modified to now have a rubber ring at the clamping edge to help prevent any damage to the sample during testing. The Supporting Die on the Lower Fabric Clamp has also been modified. The modified die replaces the former concave metal washers with more flexible hard rubber washers which help to eliminate distortions to the fabric that may have occurred with the previous die. This ensures that the clamping force can be guaranteed regardless of the sample thickness. The Lower Fabric Clamp also features a modified locking mechanism where a bearing now replaces the direct contact to the cam wheel, virtually eliminating wear and ensuring smother operation.

These modified clamps are all compatible with existing SAFQ Snap Testers and are endorsed and patented by YKK. SDL Atlas is the exclusive supplier of the SAFQ Snap Tester.

The SDL Atlas Group of companies offers the largest range of textile testing products, supplies, consumables, and services available from a single source. With its own offices in the United States, Hong Kong and China, plus agents in over 100 countries, SDL Atlas is ready to support its customers anywhere in the world.
HKPU honors SDL Atlas with Partnership Award

SDL Atlas was awarded the Distinguished Knowledge Transfer Partnership Award by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) on June 14, 2012. The award is presented to companies to recognize accomplishments in transferring their technology and expertise to the local business and industrial sectors.

SDL Atlas and the HKPU Institute of Textile (ITC) have been working together since 2000 to develop innovative projects in the area of Textile Moisture Management. Through support from Professor Li Yi from HKPU, SDL Atlas developed the Moisture Management Tester (MMT) which measures the dynamic liquid transport properties of knit and woven fabric in multi-dimensions. The MMT is a unique testing machine, offered only by SDL Atlas, which is used in the research and development stage to track the movement of moisture through a textile. By understanding liquid moisture management properties, garment manufacturers can develop clothing that is both more comfortable and more functional than ever before.

Chuck Lane, President of SDL Atlas, accepted the award from Professor Timothy Tong, President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Lane said of the award, “It is our great pleasure to have the opportunity to work with Prof. Li Yi and his team to bring this innovative testing technology to the textile and related industries. From an idea in the lab to a commercial product with its established testing standards, and well accepted in the industries, all these processes cannot be successful without the strong professional support from Prof. Li & his team.
TTS-FA-020 Method Quantifies Moisture Management Properties

More than 100 of the desk-top MMT units are currently used by laboratories in Asia, Europe and the Americas, said Robert Lattie, Director, Product Management at SDL Atlas. The unit dynamically measures liquid transfer behavior in knitted, woven and non-woven textile fabrics using upper and lower concentric moisture sensors. It generates ten key indexes and a quantifiable one-way moisture movement index value.

This new dynamic unit can demonstrate the ability of a fabric to improve apparel comfort. The MMT is recognized and used for both R&D and quality control by a growing number of sportswear and performance fabric manufacturers serving this critically important segment.

New SDL Atlas Scorch Tester Makes It Easier To Comply With International Testing Standards

Apparel manufacturers know that color fastness is a critical issue for customer satisfaction. The SDL Atlas Scorch Tester was developed and designed in cooperation with AATCC to meet industry needs for a reliable and reproducible test to determine color fastness and shrinkage to hot pressing and dry heat by providing controlled conditions of dry heat and pressure with heated top and bottom surfaces and electronic temperature controller. Previously, the weight of the upper plate could not be changed. However, since the pressure and sample size requirement of different standards are not all the same, the machine has been redesigned with a removable spring plunger on the lower plate to more easily offset the weight of the upper head.

The addition of the new simple removable spring plunger allows the weight of the upper plate to be adjusted, providing compliance with a wide variety of color fastness standards. Now the Scorch Tester meets the requirements of all of the following standards: ISO 105 - X11; AATCC 92, 114, 117, 133; GB/T 6152; BS 1006 UK-LA.

The upper head has been additionally modified with a new hinge design that allows it to move freely in the vertical plate in order to compensate for different sample thickness without damaging the sample when the plates are closed. The new hinge makes use of two slide-ways and a linear bearing.

Additionally, the Scorch Tester heating plates have been changed from aluminum to copper. The new copper plates allow for a more even heat distribution throughout the plate. The copper plates are covered by a hard chrome plating in order to provide a layer of protection.

The new design is completed with a timer that terminates with an audible alarm to alert the user to when the testing is complete. The user can set the time for any desired time that will begin counting down as soon as the upper head is closed.

The SDL Atlas Group of companies offers the largest range of textile testing equipment, supplies, consumables, and services available from a single source. With its own offices in the United States, Hong Kong and China, plus agents in over 100 countries, SDL Atlas is ready to support its customers anywhere in the world.
Fabric Comfort and Hand Measurement Explored at TBIS

Clothing is one of the most intimate objects associated with our daily life. Because it interacts directly with our skin, comfort is a basic prerequisite when selecting clothing. However, comfort is difficult to explain qualitatively since it is a complex and interdependent combination of perceptions and can be highly subjective. In order to meet the comfort needs of consumers, objective measurement methods are needed for process control purposes.

The Faculty of Textile Science and Technology of Shinshu University, in Ueda City of Japan, hosted the 5th Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposium (TBIS 2012) in August 2012. The Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society (TBIS) was incorporated in 2007 to foster, develop and promote all aspects of science and technology in bioengineering of materials, fibers and textiles, and to study how fibers, textiles and clothing influence human biology, medicine, behavior and health, as well as human living environments.

One area of particular interest in this year’s symposium was the efforts being made by testing equipment manufacturers in partnership with universities and standards development organizations to develop objective measurement of the comfort and hand properties of textile materials. One workshop in particular, the “Fabric Comfort and Hand Evaluation” workshop devoted special attention to technology innovations on how to evaluate the comfort and hand properties of textile materials focusing on the latest developments and innovations in testing methods, standards and instrumentation. There, Professor Sachiko Sukigara of Kyoto Institute of Technology Japan, Prof. Yi LI and Dr. Jun-Yan Hu, of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Mr. Robert K Lattie, the Product Development Director of SDL Atlas Ltd, and Mr. Chris Boardman of Unilever R & D Port Sunlight laboratory in the UK led a lively discussion of the use of objective and subjective evaluations of fabric comfort and hand properties as well as the development of testing standards.

An exciting development to come out of this Workshop was the public introduction of the Fabric Touch Tester from SDL Atlas. The development of the Fabric Touch Tester is a columniation of a 2.5 year research project funded by the Hong Kong Research Institute for Textiles and Apparel at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with the goal of identifying ways to definitively measure skin touch comfort.

The research papers presented the human physiological response to various comfort related stimuli from clothing and the environment. Additional papers described the details of the development of Fabric Touch Tester and its correlation to human panel studies covering a wide range of fabrics. Key features of the newly development instrument included a surprisingly quick test and simple operation that will allow these research grade measurements to be made in quality control laboratories.

“This new technology has dramatic potential in the wide spread global supply chains of today’s apparel brands,” said Mr. Lattie. “We can now finally measure fabric hand instrumentally as objectively and reliably as we measure color.”

The SDL Atlas Fabric Touch Tester is now available for order. For more information about the instrument, inquiries can be made to any SDL Atlas office or agent.

The SDL Atlas Group of companies offers the largest range of textile testing equipment, supplies, consumables, and services available from a single source. With its own offices in the United States, Hong Kong and China, plus agents in over 100 countries, SDL Atlas is ready to support its customers anywhere in the world.
Horizon Software Now Available for Tensile Testing

In cooperation with Tinius Olsen, SDL Atlas is proud to introduce the next evolution of testing software – Horizon. Horizon is a single platform that takes the best features of our existing software offerings, including Test Navigator, QMat, and EP600 software, and adds a host of report writing and data manipulation capabilities, creating a new, simplified testing platform for both the demanding rigors of Research and Development and the charting and analysis functions of Quality Control Testing.

The use of an SQL server instead of an Access Database, like many modern systems, creates a more stable platform for use with modern Data Management Systems. With a library of test methods available, the ability for users to customize every aspect of the testing makes Horizon software the most versatile option on the market. Custom inputs, programs, calculations, and outputs are all easily entered and can be locked with a security feature, allowing the operator access to only the Testing and Recall screens. These screens can be set to prompt the user for as much or as little data as the company requires and the reports generated can be set to automatically print or even email the results to key parties.
SDL Atlas Sweating Guarded Hotplate Improved

Although the functional requirements for clothing items are of the most principle concern, especially for performance and safety equipment, the comfort aspects of an item of clothing cannot be ignored. And while comfort can be very subjective, it is generally agreed upon that an item can be consider uncomfortable if it impedes the flow of heat and moisture from the body. Testing the thermal and evaporative resistance of clothing with a Sweating Guarded Hotplate has long been the primary measure of the relative merit of a particular material’s potential comfort.

SDL Atlas for several years has been producing the M259B Sweating Guarded Hot Plate which was initially designed specifically to be fully compliant with the ISO 11092 (also known in Europe as EN31092). The instrument produced results that correlated with the famous Hohenstein Institute Skin Model but at a price level that made it widely accessible to laboratories around the world.

In response to customer feedback, <ins cite="mailto:Robert%20K.%20Lattie">SDL Atlas </ins>recently redesigned their Sweating Guarded Hotplate in order to more closely comply with additional international standards for testing heat and moisture transfer properties. Many laboratories use the SDL Atlas Sweating Guarded Hotplate to perform tests to the requirements of ASTM F1868 , Standard Test Method for Thermal and Evaporative Resistance of Clothing Materials Using a Sweating Hot Plate. This standard has for many years included a reference to ISO 11092 for a description of the construction of the hot plate, but had a more detailed description of the apparatus construction. To avoid any doubt on compliance to this standard, SDL Atlas has revised the controls to be fully in line with the construction and controls detailed in the ASTM standard. Another standard that may be used is ASTM D1518,Standard Test Method for Thermal Resistance of Batting Systems Using a Hot Plate. The SDL Atlas Sweating Guarded Hotplate meets the instrument requirements for that standard’s option 2 when ordered with the optional extended temperature range controls.

The new design now features a three section hotplate composed of a test plate, guard section, and bottom plate. Each plate electrically and independently maintains a constant temperature in the range of human skin temperature (33 to 36°C). The guarded plate has also been widened to 127mm to provide a better lateral heat barrier and ensure that the measured heat flow is flowing vertically through the sample. The new wider guard now has four grooves on each edge, allowing the operator to simply lay the fabric on the plate, drop the sample tie bar in place reducing both the test setup time and potential for user errors when placing the sample.

Other design enhancements that have been made include modifications to the temperature sensor and humidity guard. The new design brings the temperature sensor closer to the porous plate’s open surface, thus improving the ability to measure the real surface temperature of the sample that is touching the plate. The number of sensors also has also been increased. Each section now features three sensors for monitoring the temperature; two are surface mounted on top of the porous plate with a third mounted under the porous plate, for a total of 9 temperature measurement channels working simultaneously. The enhanced humidity guard now features the same sintered bronze porous plate construction that the hotplate has in order to give a more accurate simulation of human skin model when doing evaporation testing. Now both the hot plate and guard plate are immersed in water when doing the evaporation test, which eliminates any lateral transfer to make sure all vaporized air flows through the sample vertically.

The redesign also features a new removable side panel that offers an easier way to access the internal part of the humidifier allowing for easier cleaning and maintenance of the instrument. This improvement reduces the regular maintenance downtime significantly.

“Here at SDL Atlas, we pride ourselves in providing the best possible testing experience for our customers.” said SDL Atlas President, Chuck Lane. “Our engineers are constantly looking for new ways to enhance our existing products to better serve our customers.”

The newly enhanced SDL Atlas Sweating Guarded Hotplate is now available for order.

New PowerTear Digital Elmendorf

Throughout a fabric’s life, it is subjected to a variety of circumstances through regular use and wear. A common experience that often occurs is the accidental contact with a sharp edge or object, thus, the determination of a textile’s tearing strength, or the force required to propagate a tear, is an important measure for evaluating quality.

To better serve the textile industry’s need for a high quality, reliable instrument to evaluate tearing resistance, SDL Atlas introduces the PowerTear High-Energy Elmendorf Tearing Tester. The PowerTear incorporates a microprocessor controlled falling pendulum with digital display to determine the ballistic tearing strength by propagating a single rip tear in a testing sample. The versatility of the PowerTear allows for a wide range of capability for testing both fine and heavy weight specimens.

The SDL Atlas PowerTear has the maximum capacity of 12800cN while still employing a single pendulum. The higher capacity add-on weights have been split into separate pieces which simplifies changing the tester capacity. A larger and heavier steel base plate is integrated into the tester to ensure the test accuracy is not affected by the pendulum’s swing. An electrical clutch is employed to stop the pendulum immediately after a test serving to increase the test efficiency and the safety of the operator while avoiding any direct contact with the pendulum.

The testing accuracy of the PowerTear is further enhanced by the use of an angular encoder and a specially designed pendulum. The angular encoder is capable of measuring the swing angles of the pendulum before and after the test accurately, enabling a more direct determination of the tearing resistance with greater accuracy. A key to conducting a test correctly is the precise determination of the center of gravity of the pendulum. While the center of gravity comes preset on the PowerTear, events can occur during the normal operation of any Elmendorf that can alter this setting. The PowerTear makes it easy to check this balance and allows the user to make adjustments if necessary. This is achieved in the PowerTear pendulum by a new design that feat features two individual precision adjusters (vertical and horizontal ) to realize this vital requirement. As a result, the accuracy can be guaranteed.

The new design is rounded out with a software upgrade. Completely new software was developed for the PowerTear that is compatible to all Windows operating systems. Users now have a wide range of functionality including the ability to input batch information, remarks, specimen descriptions, and include or exclude particular test results. Customizable reports allow the user to select the desired result calculations which then be can generated and saved as an Microsoft Excel file.

The SDL Atlas Group of companies offers the largest range of textile testing equipment, supplies, consumables, and services available from a single source. With its own offices in the United States, Hong Kong and China, plus agents in over 100 countries, SDL Atlas is ready to support its customers anywhere in the world.
SDL Atlas Introduces SnapRite Motorized Snap Tester

Stringent government safety regulations and increasing demand from consumers for high quality when it comes to children’s clothing require apparel manufactures to take particular attention when it comes to safety quality control. As part of SDL Atlas’ continuing commitment to provide confidence in standard based testing, SDL Atlas introduces the SnapRite Motorized Snap Tester, an easier and more reliable way to assess the holding or breaking strength of button or snap fasteners onto garments or toys. Strong attachment of snaps to the fabric is critical to avoid the snaps coming loose and possibly being swallowed by the baby or child.

The SnapRite is the motorized version of the SafQ Snap Tester, which was designed and patented by YKK and has become a standard for safety testing in children and infant garments. Nike, GAP and H&M specifically adopted the tester throughout their supply chains. This new model, also built under exclusive license of YKK patent, offers many advantages over the manual method.

The SnapRite will apply a consistent test every time for much more reliable results. The use of a controller, motor dead weight, and load cell mean that the pulling force will be applied evenly throughout the test up to the maximum limit and can be held precisely at a fixed load for the specified amount of time. This eliminates several different possibilities for operator error due to fatigue which can especially occur while performing numerous tests.

The SafQ SnapRite also comes with an improved fabric clamp and snap grip. These have been redesigned to give a better grip on the snap and the garment without deforming the sample and to provide a quicker and smoother sample loading. These can also be purchased separately to upgrade an existing manual SafQ Snap Tester.

The capability of the instrument can be enhanced with use of the same grips, clamps, and accessories as the manual Snap Tester. These include clamps for other snaps, Jean Buttons, Four-Hole Buttons, and garment accessories such as Zippers, Bows, Applique, Toggles, Hooks/Bars, and D-rings among others.

The SafQ brand of safety testing equipment is produced and distributed by SDL Atlas, the largest range of textile testing equipment, supplies, consumables, and services available from a single source. The SafQ line includes Small Parts Cylinder, Sharp Point Tester, Sharp Edge Tester, Button Impact Tester, and Accessibility Probes. SDL Atlas provides confidence in standard based testing through expertise and global partnering.

For more information, visit www.sdlatlas.com or contact an SDL Atlas solutions expert:

- (US/Europe) T: +1 803 329 2110; E: info@sdlatlas.com

- (Hong Kong) T: +852 3443 4888; E: info@sdlatlas.com.cn

- (China) T: +86 755 2671 1168; E: info@sdlatlas.com.cn

Conference of Clothing Comfort Evaluation and Fabric Touch Comfort Testing

Clothing is one of the most intimate objects associated with our daily life. Because it interacts directly with our skin, comfort is a basic prerequisite when selecting clothing. However, comfort is difficult to explain qualitatively since it is a complex and interdependent combination of perceptions and can be highly subjective. In order to meet the comfort needs of consumers, objective measurement methods are needed for process control purposes. Meanwhile, the skin is extremely sensitive to the pressure and heat transfer due to millions of kinds of receptors all over the body. There is a need to characterize the tactile sensory properties of textile polymeric materials with simulation of the fabric-skin contact process during wear.

At the dawn of the 16th Shanghai International Textile machinery Fair (Shanghai Tex 2013), THE HONGKONG RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF TEXTILES AND APPAREL (HKRITA) and SDL Atlas will work hand in hand to sponsor the Conference of Clothing Comfort Evaluation and Fabric Touch Comfort Testing to be held at 14:00-16:30 on the afternoon of Jun 11th, 2013 in the meeting room W2-M9 of Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Dr. Hu Junyan, Senior Research Fellow of Textile and Garment Dept. of Hongkong Polytechnic University (ITC, The HKPolyU), will attend as the speaker & expect in-depth discussion and face to face exchange with the conference participants.

Seminar content includes technology innovations on how to evaluate the comfort and hand properties of textile materials focusing on the latest developments and innovations in testing methods, standards and instrumentation. How to make quick test and simple operation in quality control laboratories to know the human physiological response to various comfort related stimuli from clothing and the environment.

Welcome participants from textile colleges and representatives of garment enterprises to attend this conference. Seats are limited & will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Biography of Dr. Hu Junyan
Dr. Hu is a senior research fellow, doctoral student supervisor and deputy project coordinator at Institute of Textile and Clothing (ITC), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
He gained his M.Sc. in computer science in 1994 from Zhejiang University and Ph.D. from the HongKong Polytechnic University in 2006 in textile science. With more than 18 granted patents all over the world, his research interests cover clothing comfort and material performance evaluation, standard development as well as nanotechnology and functional products development. Member of Committee on Standards and Testing in China Textile Engineering Society（CTES）, Member of Subcommittee on Knitwear Technical in China National Technical Committee for Textile Standardization (SAC/TC209/SC6), Member of Subcommittee on Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles in China National Technical Committee for Textile Standardization(SAC/TC209/SC7).
